The western blot boxes are designed to perfectly fit blots of various sizes, matched to common blot dimensions to maximize the number of blots on shakers or rockers while minimizing reagent and antibody usage. All corners are formed at 90° angles, and the bottom surface is uniformly flat to further reduce consumption of costly reagents and antibodies. For example, popular mini-gels require only about 4 ml. Many boxes are available in light-blocking opaque black for use with light-sensitive samples. The kit includes boxes with hinged lids that minimize evaporation and accommodate halves, wholes, strips, or mini blots, ensuring precise fit and efficient use in blotting procedures.
