The OptiWell™ line of deep well plates, compatible with all popular automated research platforms and robotic equipment, includes over 30 plate configurations designed for bacterial cultures, centrifugation up to 4000xg max RCF, and general sample storage. These plates can be used with silicone sealing mats and various types of sealing film. Manufactured in a class 100,000 cleanroom facility, they are ANSI/SLAS 1-2004 compliant, certified RNase/DNase free, non-pyrogenic, and made from virgin, medical-grade polypropylene with black printed alpha-numerics. While all OptiWell™ plates are autoclavable, several types are also available presterilized by gamma irradiation in accordance with ISO 13485. They feature a V (conical) shape for minimal binding and liquid retention, and are suitable for use with Kingfisher and Accuris IsoPure systems.
