The OptiWell™ line of deep well plates is compatible with all popular automated research platforms and robotic equipment, making them suitable for bacterial cultures, centrifugation at a maximum relative centrifugal force of 4000xg, and general sample storage. These plates can be used with silicone sealing mats and various types of sealing film. Manufactured in a class 100,000 cleanroom facility, they meet ANSI / SLAS 1-2004 compliance standards. While all OptiWell™ plates are autoclavable, several variants are also available presterilized by gamma irradiation according to ISO 13485. The plates are certified RNase/DNase free and non-pyrogenic. They come in over 30 plate configurations featuring a U-bottom design with minimal binding and liquid retention, black printed alpha-numerics for identification, and are made from virgin, medical-grade polypropylene.
