The OptiWell™ line of deep well plates is compatible with all popular automated research platforms and robotic equipment, available in 24, 48, 96, or 384 formats suitable for virtually every research lab. These plates are designed for bacterial cultures, centrifugation with a maximum relative centrifugal force of 4000xg, and general sample storage. They can be used with silicone sealing mats and various types of sealing film. All plates are produced in a Class 100,000 cleanroom facility and comply with ANSI/SLAS 1-2004 standards. While all OptiWell™ plates are autoclavable, several are sterilized by gamma irradiation, and all are certified non-pyrogenic, RNase- and DNase-free. The plates are made from virgin, medical-grade polypropylene and feature a V-shaped (conical) bottom with black printed alphanumeric labels for easy identification and minimal binding or liquid retention. The product line offers over 30 plate configurations.
