SureFrame™ plates are manufactured using a special two-material process that combines an ultra-rigid polycarbonate frame with polypropylene tube wells, maintaining favorable thermal transfer characteristics. The ultra-rigid polycarbonate frame is designed to prevent warping inside thermal cyclers, which is common in traditional single-material plates and can cause increased evaporation in outer wells and inconsistent amplification. This design ensures completely uniform results and is suitable for all automated platforms and plate grippers. The plates are fully skirted with a polycarbonate frame and are certified for PCR.
