The OptiWell™ line of deep well plates is compatible with all popular automated research platforms and robotic equipment, suitable for bacterial cultures, centrifugation up to 4000xg maximum relative centrifugal force (RCF), and general sample storage. These plates can be used with silicone sealing mats and various types of sealing film. Manufactured in a Class 100,000 cleanroom facility, they are ANSI/SLAS 1-2004 compliant. While all OptiWell™ plates are autoclavable, several types are also available presterilized by gamma irradiation in accordance with ISO 13485. All plates are certified RNase/DNase free and non-pyrogenic. The line offers over 30 plate configurations, featuring non-sterile, V (conical) wells designed for minimal binding and liquid retention, with black printed alpha-numerics on virgin, medical-grade polypropylene.
