The Optiwell™ line of deep well plates, compatible with all popular automated research platforms and robotic equipment, is designed for bacterial cultures, centrifugation up to 4000xg max RCF, and general sample storage. These plates can be used with silicone sealing mats and various types of sealing film. Manufactured in a class 100,000 cleanroom facility, they meet ANSI/SLAS 1-2004 standards. While all Optiwell™ plates are autoclavable, several types are also available presterilized by gamma irradiation in accordance with ISO 13485. Each plate is certified RNase/DNase free and non-pyrogenic, featuring over 30 plate configurations with sterile, U-bottom wells that offer minimal binding and liquid retention. The plates include black printed alpha-numerics and are made from virgin, medical-grade polypropylene.
