The OptiWell™ line of deep well plates is compatible with all popular automated research platforms and robotic equipment and is suitable for bacterial cultures, centrifugation up to 4000xg max RCF, and general sample storage. These plates can be used with silicone sealing mats and various types of sealing film. Manufactured in a Class 100,000 cleanroom facility, the plates are ANSI / SLAS 1-2004 compliant. While all OptiWell™ plates are autoclavable, several types are also available presterilized by gamma irradiation in accordance with ISO 13485. They are certified RNase/DNase free and non-pyrogenic. The product line includes over 30 plate configurations featuring U-bottom wells, sterile construction, minimal binding and liquid retention, black printed alpha-numerics for labeling, and are made from virgin, medical-grade polypropylene.
