Providing 360° protection from accidental impact with building supports, the Column Guard HD is a heavy-duty solution designed to prevent damage caused by reversing forklifts in busy warehouses. Standing 36" high and manufactured from 3/8" thick steel with 3/8" gussets made of high-strength, cold-rolled steel, the Column Guard HD can stop a 10,000 lb forklift traveling at 3-4 mph. The safety yellow powder coat finish ensures high visibility in warehouse environments. The column guard is supplied in two halves, allowing for flexible installation around columns blocked on one side, and one circular assembly of two halves fits comfortably around standard columns up to 10" x 10". Anchoring the guard directly into the floor eliminates shock transfer to the structure. Warranty information is provided but not specified in detail.
