Providing 360° protection from accidental impact with building supports, the Column Guard HD is a heavy-duty solution designed to protect columns in busy warehouses where tight turning radii and poor sightlines increase the risk of forklift collisions. The Column Guard HD stands 36" high and is manufactured from 3/8" thick steel, reinforced with 3/8" gussets made of high-strength, cold-rolled steel, enabling it to stop a 10,000 lb forklift traveling at 3-4 mph. The safety yellow powder coat finish ensures high visibility, and the column guards are supplied in two halves, allowing flexibility for installation around columns blocked on one side. One circular assembly consisting of these two halves fits comfortably around a standard column up to 16" x 16". Anchoring the Column Guard HD directly into the floor ensures that zero shock is transferred to the structure, providing robust protection without compromising building integrity. The product includes a warranty as specified by the manufacturer.
