The MP8017 is a 25/32" round punch and die set specifically designed for MetalPro Ironworker machines. Each set includes one upper punch and one lower die, with the hole size determined by the upper punch. The lower die measures 2" in diameter, and there is a 1/32" clearance between the punch and the die. For optimal performance, the hole punch size should be equal to or greater than the thickness of the material being punched. It is recommended that the punch and die set be 1/32" larger than the bolt size being used, for example, a 5/16" bolt would require an 11/32" round punch and die set. This punch and die set is rated for use in mild steel.
