MetalPro's 12 inch brake accessory fits in any MetalPro ironworkers central workstation and comes equipped with a standard 90 degree forming brake die set, featuring a 10-gauge upper punch and a 3/16" lower die. The kit includes an assortment of die sizes and styles capable of forming 28 gauge to 1/2" mild steel, with width limited to tonnage requirements. The MetalPro MP4510 is a universal brake compatible with all MetalPro machine models and can also be used in other applications such as H frame presses. All MetalPro machines and accessories are made in the USA and built to last. For calculating bending tonnage, use the formula 150 multiplied by material thickness to determine the tonnage required for bending a 12" length of mild steel. It is recommended to always bend material, regardless of width, at the center of the brake.
