The MP8002 is a 5/16" round punch and die set designed for MetalPro ironworkers, featuring one upper punch and one lower die per set. The hole size corresponds to the upper punch, and all sets include a standard 2" lower die with a 1/32" clearance between the punch and the die. For optimal performance, the hole punch size should be equal to or greater than the material thickness, and it is recommended that the punch and die size be 1/32" larger than the bolt size (for example, a 5/16" bolt requires an 11/32" round punch and die set). This set is rated for use in mild steel.
