The MP8005 is a 13/32" round punch and die set designed specifically for MetalPro Ironworkers. Each set includes one upper punch and one lower die, with the hole size determined by the upper punch. The sets feature a standard 2" lower die and maintain a 1/32" clearance between the punch and die. For optimal performance, the hole punch size should be equal to or greater than the material thickness, and it is recommended that the punch and die set be 1/32" larger than the bolt size, for example, a 5/16" bolt requires an 11/32" round punch and die set. This punch and die set is rated for use in mild steel.
