Dowfrost™ Heat Transfer Fluid is the only inhibited glycol made with Dow PuraGuard™ propylene glycol USP/EP, a pharmaceutical grade monopropylene glycol with a specified purity greater than 99.8%. Unlike competitor products that often utilize recycled or industrial grade glycols or bio-renewable derived glycols, Dowfrost™ meets USP specifications by avoiding significant impurities such as ethylene glycol, diethylene glycol, and dioxolanes, which can cause toxicity, strong odors, and excessive foam. This heat transfer fluid includes long-lasting, food-safe corrosion inhibitors, making it an excellent choice for prolonging fluid lifetime and reducing cost of ownership.
