Professional Strength CP50 Pellets of Fire Calcium Chloride Pellets is a unique formulation containing 90-94% calcium chloride (CAS No. 10043-52-4), 1.3% water (CAS No. 7732-18-5), 1-2% potassium chloride (CAS No. 7447-40-7), and 1-3% sodium chloride (CAS No. 7647-14-5). This 50 lbs package accelerates melting by generating significant heat upon contact with snow and ice, effectively melting ice at temperatures as low as -25°F. It is designed for use on most driveways, steps, sidewalks, and entryways and is proven safer when applied as directed to quality concrete surfaces. The pellets can be dispensed directly from the bag or via a handheld or wheeled salt spreader. It can also be applied preventatively at the first sign of snow to facilitate snow removal and prevent accumulation.
