The SSM Plus water filter assembly is a twin system with a maximum flow rate of 3.34 gallons per minute, designed for use with cubers over 650 lb and up to 1,200 lb, as well as for flakers and nuggets over 1,200 lb. The kit includes AquaArmor by Agion, a silver-based antimicrobial compound that provides protection by reducing the growth of bacteria, microorganisms, algae, mold, and slime on ice machine surfaces, thereby preventing premature clogging. The filter offers ultrafine half-micron filtration combined with food-grade polyphosphate to ensure chlorine, off-tastes, odors, and particles are removed from the ice. Certified by NSF and CULUS, the system extends the life of Scotsman® machines, provides cleaner and more consistent ice, reduces unscheduled water-related maintenance calls by up to 40%, and is easy to install and maintain.
