Scotch® Box Sealing Tape 371 is an industrial grade packing tape designed to securely close a wide variety of medium weight box materials, including recycled liner paper and fiberboard, and is recommended for use on Regular Slotted Containers (RSC) weighing up to 70 lbs (31.7 kg). The tape features a 1.8 mil biaxially oriented polypropylene film backing with a synthetic rubber pressure-sensitive adhesive that offers roll-to-roll consistency for increased productivity and improved unit cost. This tape is easy to unwind and dispense with manual dispensers or 3M-Matic™ case sealers, resists abrasion, moisture, chemicals, and scuffing, and is highly conformable to stay in place around carton edges. It meets FDA guidelines for indirect food contact, provides a strong adhesive bond with secure containment during high-speed automated packaging, and offers consistent and smooth dispensing to reduce product waste. Scotch® Box Sealing Tape 371 provides long-lasting performance with good edge tear resistance, resists splitting, and is ideal for general industrial packaging applications, box sealing, splicing, and more.
