Scotch® Box Sealing Tape 371 is an industrial grade packing tape featuring a 1.8 mil biaxially oriented polypropylene film backing with a synthetic rubber adhesive designed for roll to roll consistency, increasing productivity and improving unit cost. The tape securely closes a wide variety of medium weight box materials, resists abrasion, moisture, chemicals, and scuffing, and conforms easily around edges and rough surfaces to provide a tight seal. It is suitable for general industrial packaging applications, including box sealing of recycled liner paper and fiberboard on regular slotted containers (RSC) weighing up to 70 lbs (31.7 kg), and works efficiently with manual dispensers or 3M-Matic™ case sealers for both manual and automatic carton sealing. The tape is designed for high-speed automated packaging, offering consistent and smooth dispensing to reduce product waste, strong adhesive performance for dependable hold, good edge tear, and resistance to splitting. Scotch® Box Sealing Tape 371 meets FDA guidelines for indirect food contact and is certified for secure containment in general industrial applications.
