The 3M™ Water Activated Paper Tape 6145 Kraft is a light-duty, water-activated adhesive tape designed for sealing a wide variety of corrugated surfaces. It features a 3-way fiberglass reinforcing pattern in the backing that adds strength in all directions, combining reinforced Kraft paper with a high-tack water-activated adhesive to ensure boxes stay securely sealed throughout shipping, handling, and storage. Recommended for packages weighing up to 30 lbs, the tape achieves optimal security by forming two C clips on each carton top and bottom, conforming easily over edges and corners to create secure, tamper-evident C clip and I clip seals. The adhesive bonds with fiberboard material for a strong, durable seal that performs well on recycled cartons and non-unitized loads. Its reinforced construction is suitable across a range of environments and applications, meeting the needs of industries such as food, beverage, medical pharmaceutical, paper, print, electronics, shipping, and distribution centers. Semi-automatic application equipment is available to increase efficiency and speed packaging and carton sealing processes, with the tape applied most easily at room temperature.
