The 48"W x 12"D x 96"H SC Preferred® commercial-duty boltless shelving add on unit is designed to expand existing storage systems by connecting easily to commercial-duty boltless starter kits using a T-post configuration to create a continuous shelving system. Constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish, this unit features a boltless design for quick assembly and provides four-sided access for versatile use. The heavy-duty frame includes 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, with double rivet beams on the top and bottom shelves for added stability and single rivet beams on the middle shelf for reliable support. Rivet button stud construction securely locks perimeter beams into the posts, reducing back and side sway. It has five adjustable shelves fitted with DuraDeck decking, a smooth, non-porous surface that wipes clean easily, suitable for healthcare and food service environments. Each shelf supports up to 300 lbs. when evenly distributed, and shelves are adjustable in 1" increments. The design features pre-sized panels for seamless installation and supports open, four-sided access to stored items, ideal for industries where cleanliness is essential.
