The 36"W x 18"D x 84"H SC Preferred™ commercial-duty boltless shelving add-on unit is designed to expand existing storage systems by connecting easily to commercial-duty boltless starter kits using a T-post configuration for a continuous shelving system. Constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish, this 3-shelf unit features a boltless design that enables quick assembly and four-sided access for maximum flexibility. The heavy-duty frame includes 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, with double rivet beams on the top and bottom shelves for added stability, and single rivet beams on the middle shelf for reliable support. Rivet button stud construction securely locks the perimeter beams into the posts, reducing back and side sway. Each adjustable shelf, which can be positioned in 1" increments, is fitted with DuraDeck decking, a smooth, non-porous surface ideal for healthcare and food service applications. The unit supports up to 400 lbs. per level when evenly distributed and includes pre-sized panels for seamless installation, making it suitable for industries where cleanliness and accessibility are essential.
