The 48"W x 12"D x 72"H SC Preferred™ commercial-duty boltless shelving add-on unit is designed to expand existing storage systems with ease. Constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish, this unit features a boltless design for quick assembly and provides four-sided access to stored items. Its heavy-duty frame includes 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, double rivet beams on the top and bottom levels for added stability, and single rivet beams on the middle shelf for reliable support. The rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into posts, reducing back and side sway. Each of the four adjustable shelves is fitted with Duradeck decking, a smooth, non-porous surface ideal for healthcare and food service applications, and shelves are adjustable in 1" increments. The shelving supports up to 300 lbs. per level when evenly distributed and features pre-sized panels for seamless installation. It connects to a coordinating starter unit using a T-post configuration for a continuous shelving system and is suitable for industries where cleanliness is essential.
