The 48"W x 24"D x 36"H SC Preferred® commercial-duty boltless shelving add-on unit is designed to expand existing storage systems by connecting easily to commercial-duty boltless starter kits using a T-post configuration for a continuous shelving system. Constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish, this 3-shelf unit features a boltless design for quick assembly and provides four-sided access for versatile use. The heavy-duty frame includes 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, double rivet beams on the top and bottom shelves for added stability, and a single rivet beam on the middle shelf for reliable support. Rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into the posts, reducing back and side sway. Each adjustable shelf, which can be positioned in 1" increments, is fitted with DuraDeck decking, a smooth, non-porous surface that wipes clean easily, making it suitable for healthcare and food service environments. The shelves support up to 300 lbs. per level when evenly distributed and include pre-sized panels for seamless installation. This unit offers an open design for maximum flexibility in accessing stored items and complies with standards appropriate for industries where cleanliness is essential.
