The 48"W x 24"D x 84"H SC Preferred commercial-duty boltless shelving add-on unit is designed to expand existing storage systems by connecting to coordinating commercial-duty boltless starter kits using a T-post configuration for a continuous shelving system. Constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish, this unit features a boltless design for quick assembly and four-sided access for maximum flexibility. Its heavy-duty frame includes 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, with double rivet beams on the top and bottom levels and single rivet beams on the middle shelf for added stability and reliable support. Rivet button stud construction securely locks perimeter beams into the posts to reduce back and side sway. Each of the four adjustable shelves, which can be repositioned at 1" increments, is fitted with DuraDeck decking, a smooth, non-porous surface that is easy to clean, making it suitable for healthcare and food service environments. The shelving supports up to 300 lbs. per level when evenly distributed, features pre-sized panels for seamless installation, and offers an open design that allows four-sided access to stored items.
