The 48"W x 12"D x 60"H SC Preferred® commercial-duty boltless shelving add on unit is designed to expand existing storage systems by connecting to coordinating commercial-duty boltless starter kits using a T-post configuration, creating a continuous shelving system. Constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish, this unit features a heavy-duty frame with 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers. It includes three adjustable shelves supported by double rivet beams on the top and bottom levels for added stability and single rivet beams on the middle shelf for reliable support. The rivet button stud construction securely locks perimeter beams into the posts, reducing back and side sway. Each shelf is fitted with smooth, non-porous DuraDeck decking that wipes clean easily, suitable for healthcare and food service environments. The unit supports up to 300 lbs. per level when evenly distributed, and the shelves are adjustable at 1" increments. The open design allows four-sided access for maximum flexibility, and the pre-sized panels enable seamless installation.
