The 48"W x 18"D x 84"H SC Preferred™ commercial-duty boltless shelving add-on unit expands your existing storage system by connecting to coordinating commercial-duty boltless starter kits using a T-post configuration for continuous shelving across multiple units. Constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish, this unit features a boltless design for quick assembly and provides four-sided access for maximum flexibility. Its heavy-duty frame includes 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers with double rivet beams on the top and bottom levels and single rivet beams on the middle shelf for added stability. The rivet button stud construction securely locks perimeter beams into the posts, forming a stable joint that reduces back and side sway. The unit includes four adjustable shelves fitted with DuraDeck decking, a smooth, non-porous surface that wipes clean easily and is suitable for healthcare and food service applications. Each shelf supports up to 300 lbs. when evenly distributed, and shelves are adjustable at 1" increments. The pre-sized panels facilitate seamless installation, and the open design allows four-sided access to stored items, making it ideal for industries where cleanliness is essential.
