The 48"W x 12"D x 60"H SC Preferred™ commercial-duty boltless shelving starter unit is constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish and features a 5-shelf design with a boltless assembly requiring no nuts, bolts, or clips. It includes double rivet beams on the top and bottom levels for added stability and single rivet beams on the middle shelf for reliable support, with 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers. The rivet button stud construction securely locks the perimeter beams into the corner posts, eliminating back and side sway. Each adjustable shelf is equipped with DuraDeck decking, providing a smooth, non-porous surface that easily wipes clean, making it suitable for healthcare and food service applications. This unit supports up to 300 lbs. per level when the load is evenly distributed, with shelves that adjust in 1" increments. The open design allows four-sided access to stored items, offering maximum flexibility, and the unit can be extended with add-on units for additional storage space. The package includes pre-sized panels for seamless installation.
