The 48"W x 24"D x 72"H SC Preferred commercial-duty boltless shelving starter unit is constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish and features a boltless design for quick assembly without nuts, bolts, or clips. This 4-shelf unit includes 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, double rivet beams on the top and bottom levels for added stability, and single rivet beams on the middle shelf for reliable support. The rivet button stud construction securely locks perimeter beams into the corner posts to form a stable joint that eliminates back and side sway. Each adjustable shelf, which can support up to 300 lbs. per level when evenly distributed and adjusts in 1" increments, is fitted with DuraDeck decking, a smooth, non-porous surface ideal for healthcare and food service applications. The open design allows four-sided access to stored items for maximum flexibility, and the unit can be extended with add-on units for additional storage space.
