The 48"W x 24"D x 60"H SC Preferred® commercial-duty boltless shelving starter unit is constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish and features a boltless design for quick assembly without nuts, bolts, or clips. The 3-shelf unit includes double rivet beams on the top and bottom levels for added stability and single rivet beams on the middle shelf for reliable support. Its heavy-duty frame comprises 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, with rivet button stud construction that securely locks perimeter beams into corner posts to form stable joints that help eliminate back and side sway. Each adjustable shelf supports up to 300 lbs. when evenly distributed, is fitted with DuraDeck decking—a smooth, non-porous surface that wipes clean easily—and can be adjusted in 1" increments. The open design provides four-sided access to stored items for maximum flexibility, and pre-sized panels ensure seamless installation.
