The 48"W x 12"D x 120"H SC Preferred® standard-duty boltless shelving starter unit is constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish, featuring five adjustable shelves with DuraDeck non-porous decking that wipes clean easily, suitable for healthcare and food service applications. Its heavy-duty frame includes 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double-riveted horizontal beams on every level that adjust in 1" increments, providing added support, stability, and the ability to customize shelf spacing. The double rivet button stud construction securely locks perimeter beams into corner posts to eliminate back and side sway, while the boltless design allows for quick, tool-free assembly without the use of nuts, bolts, or clips. The open design offers four-sided access to stored items, supporting up to 800 lbs. per level with even weight distribution. The shelving unit can be extended with add-on units for additional storage space and includes pre-sized panels for seamless installation.
