The 48"W x 18"D x 84"H SC Preferred® commercial-duty boltless shelving starter unit is constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish and features five adjustable shelves with DuraDeck decking, providing a smooth, non-porous surface that is easy to clean, suitable for healthcare and food service applications. The unit includes a heavy-duty frame with 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, double rivet beams on the top and bottom levels, and single rivet beams on the middle shelf for added stability. Rivet button stud construction securely locks perimeter beams into corner posts to form stable joints minimizing back and side sway. Shelves adjust in 1" increments and each level supports up to 300 lbs. when weight is evenly distributed. The boltless design allows easy assembly without nuts, bolts, or clips and the open design offers four-sided access to stored items for maximum flexibility. Pre-sized panels ensure seamless installation, and the unit can be extended with add-on units to provide additional storage space.
