The 36"W x 18"D x 60"H SC Preferred® commercial-duty boltless shelving starter unit is constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish and features a boltless design for quick assembly without nuts, bolts, or clips. It includes five adjustable shelves fitted with DuraDeck decking, a smooth, non-porous surface ideal for healthcare and food service applications, and supports up to 400 lbs. per level when evenly distributed. The heavy-duty frame consists of 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, with double rivet beams on the top and bottom levels and single rivet beams on the middle shelf for added stability. Rivet button stud construction secures the perimeter beams into the corner posts to form a stable joint that helps eliminate back and side sway. Shelves adjust in 1" increments, the unit provides four-sided access for maximum flexibility, and pre-sized panels enable seamless installation. The system can be extended with add-on units for additional storage space.
