The 36"W x 12"D x 72"H SC Preferred® commercial-duty boltless shelving starter unit is constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish, featuring a boltless design for quick assembly without nuts, bolts, or clips. The heavy-duty frame includes 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, with double rivet beams on the top and bottom levels and single rivet beams on the middle shelf for stability and reliable support. Rivet button stud construction securely locks perimeter beams into corner posts, forming a stable joint that reduces back and side sway. Each adjustable shelf is fitted with DuraDeck decking, a smooth, non-porous surface ideal for healthcare and food service applications, supporting up to 400 lbs. per level when evenly distributed. Shelves adjust in 1" increments and provide four-sided access to stored items for maximum flexibility. The kit includes three shelves and pre-sized panels for seamless installation. The unit can be extended with add-on units for additional storage space.
