The 36"W x 18"D x 72"H SC Preferred® commercial-duty boltless shelving starter unit is constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish, featuring a boltless design that allows for quick assembly without the use of nuts, bolts, or clips. This 5-shelf unit includes a heavy-duty frame made of 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, with double rivet beams on the top and bottom levels and single rivet beams on the middle shelf to provide added stability and reliable support. Rivet button stud construction securely locks perimeter beams into the corner posts, eliminating back and side sway. Each adjustable shelf is equipped with DuraDeck decking, a smooth, non-porous surface that cleans easily, making it suitable for healthcare and food service environments. Shelves support up to 400 lbs. per level when evenly distributed and adjust in 1" increments. The open design provides four-sided access to stored items for maximum flexibility, and the unit can be extended with add-on units for additional storage space. Pre-sized panels facilitate seamless installation. Warranty terms are included as per SC Preferred standards.
