The 48"W x 24"D x 60"H SC Preferred™ commercial-duty boltless shelving starter unit is constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish and includes five adjustable shelves fitted with DuraDeck decking, a smooth, non-porous surface suitable for healthcare and food service applications. It features a heavy-duty frame made of 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, with double rivet beams on the top and bottom levels and single rivet beams on the middle shelf for added stability and reliable support. The boltless design allows for easy assembly without nuts, bolts, or clips, using rivet button stud construction to securely lock perimeter beams into the corner posts, forming a stable joint that reduces back and side sway. Each shelf supports up to 300 lbs. when evenly distributed and adjusts in 1" increments, while the open design provides four-sided access to stored items. The unit is designed with pre-sized panels for seamless installation and can be extended with add-on units for additional storage space, making it ideal for industries where cleanliness is essential.
