The 48"W x 12"D x 84"H SC Preferred™ commercial-duty boltless shelving starter unit is constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish and features a boltless design for quick assembly without the use of nuts, bolts, or clips. It includes four adjustable shelves with DuraDeck decking, a smooth, non-porous surface that cleans easily and supports up to 300 lbs. per level when evenly distributed. The unit's heavy-duty frame consists of 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, with double rivet beams on the top and bottom levels and single rivet beams on the middle shelf for added stability. The rivet button stud construction securely locks perimeter beams into the corner posts, forming stable joints that minimize back and side sway. Shelves adjust in 1" increments, and the open design allows four-sided access to stored items for maximum flexibility. Pre-sized panels facilitate seamless installation, and the unit is ideal for industries requiring cleanliness, such as healthcare and food service.
