The 48"W x 12"D x 96"H SC Preferred™ commercial-duty boltless shelving starter unit is constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish and features a boltless design that enables quick assembly without nuts, bolts, or clips. It includes 3 adjustable shelves with Duradeck decking, a smooth, non-porous surface suitable for healthcare and food service applications, and provides four-sided access to stored items for maximum flexibility. The heavy-duty frame consists of 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, double rivet beams on the top and bottom shelves, and single rivet beams on the middle shelf to provide added stability and reliable support. The rivet button stud construction securely locks perimeter beams into corner posts, eliminating back and side sway. Shelves adjust in 1" increments and support up to 300 lbs. per level when evenly distributed. The unit includes pre-sized panels for seamless installation and can be extended with add-on units for additional storage space. It is designed for environments where cleanliness is essential.
