The 36"W x 18"D x 60"H SC Preferred® commercial-duty boltless shelving starter unit is constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish and features a boltless design for quick and easy assembly without the use of nuts, bolts, or clips. It includes a heavy-duty frame with 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, double rivet beams on the top and bottom levels for added stability, and single rivet beams on the middle shelf for reliable support. The rivet button stud construction securely locks perimeter beams into the corner posts, forming a stable joint that minimizes back and side sway. This 3-shelf unit provides four-sided access to stored items for maximum flexibility, and each adjustable shelf is fitted with Duradeck decking, a smooth, non-porous surface that wipes clean easily, making it suitable for healthcare and food service applications. The shelves support up to 400 lbs. per level when evenly distributed and adjust in 1" increments. The open design and pre-sized panels allow for seamless installation and can be extended with add-on units for additional storage space.
