The 36"W x 12"D x 96"H SC Preferred® commercial-duty boltless shelving starter unit is constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish and features a boltless design for quick, hassle-free assembly without the use of nuts, bolts, or clips. This 4-shelf unit has a heavy-duty frame made of 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, with double rivet beams on the top and bottom levels and single rivet beams on the middle shelf for added stability and reliable support. The rivet button stud construction securely locks perimeter beams into the corner posts to create a stable joint that eliminates back and side sway. Each adjustable shelf is fitted with DuraDeck decking, providing a smooth, non-porous surface that wipes clean easily, making it suitable for healthcare and food service applications. The shelves support up to 400 lbs. per level when evenly distributed and adjust in 1" increments. The open design allows four-sided access to stored items for maximum flexibility, and the unit includes pre-sized panels for seamless installation.
