The 36"W x 18"D x 84"H SC Preferred® standard-duty boltless shelving starter unit is constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish and features a boltless design for easy assembly without nuts, bolts, or clips. This 7-shelf unit includes 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double rivet beams on every level for added support and stability, with adjustable shelves that move in 1" increments. The double rivet button stud construction securely locks perimeter beams into the corner posts, creating a stable joint that reduces back and side sway. Each shelf has DuraDeck non-porous decking that wipes clean easily, making it suitable for healthcare and food service environments. The open design allows four-sided access to stored items for maximum flexibility, and the unit supports up to 800 lbs. per level when evenly distributed. Pre-sized panels enable seamless installation, and the shelving can be extended with add-on units for additional storage space.
