The 48"W x 12"D x 96"H SC Preferred® standard-duty boltless shelving add on unit is designed to expand existing storage systems by connecting easily to standard-duty boltless starter kits with a T-post configuration, creating a continuous shelving system. Constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish, this 3-shelf unit features a boltless design for quick assembly without nuts, bolts, or clips. Its heavy-duty frame includes 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double-riveted horizontal beams on every level for added support and stability, with beams adjusting in 1" increments. The double rivet button stud construction securely locks perimeter beams into corner posts, eliminating back and side sway. Each adjustable shelf contains DuraDeck decking, a smooth, non-porous surface that is easy to clean, suitable for healthcare and food service applications. The panels are pre-sized for seamless installation, and the open design allows four-sided access to maximize flexibility. Shelves support up to 800 lbs. per level when weight is evenly distributed.
