The 48"W x 18"D x 60"H SC Preferred® standard-duty boltless shelving starter unit is constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish and features a boltless design for quick, easy assembly without the use of nuts, bolts, or clips. This 3-shelf unit includes 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double-riveted horizontal beams on every level for added support and stability, with double rivet button stud construction that securely locks perimeter beams into the corner posts to eliminate back and side sway. Shelves are adjustable in 1" increments and each is fitted with DuraDeck non-porous decking that wipes clean easily, making it suitable for healthcare and food service applications. The open design allows four-sided access to stored items for maximum flexibility, supports up to 800 lbs. per level when evenly distributed, and can be extended with add-on units for additional storage. Pre-sized panels enable seamless installation, ideal for environments where cleanliness is essential.
