The 36"W x 24"D x 36"H SC Preferred® standard-duty boltless shelving add-on unit is designed to expand existing storage systems by connecting easily to standard-duty boltless starter kits using a T-post configuration for a continuous shelving setup across multiple units. Constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish, this 2-shelf unit features a boltless design that allows for quick assembly without nuts, bolts, or clips and provides four-sided access to stored items. Its heavy-duty frame includes 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double-riveted horizontal beams on every level for added support and stability, with beams adjustable in 1" increments to meet various storage needs. The double rivet button stud construction securely locks perimeter beams into the corner posts, eliminating back and side sway. Each adjustable shelf is fitted with DuraDeck decking, a smooth, non-porous surface ideal for healthcare and food service applications, and supports up to 800 lbs. per level when evenly distributed. The pre-sized panels enable seamless installation in environments where cleanliness is essential, and the open design allows easy access from all four sides.
