The 36"W x 18"D x 84"H SC Preferred® standard-duty boltless shelving starter unit is constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish and features a boltless design for quick assembly without nuts, bolts, or clips. It includes a heavy-duty frame with 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double-riveted horizontal beams on every level for added support and stability, with beams adjustable in 1" increments. The double rivet button stud construction securely locks perimeter beams into the corner posts, eliminating back and side sway. The unit has three adjustable shelves fitted with Duradeck non-porous decking that wipes clean easily, suitable for healthcare and food service applications. The open design allows four-sided access to stored items, supports up to 800 lbs. per level when evenly distributed, and can be extended with add-on units for additional storage.
