The 36"W x 12"D x 36"H SC Preferred® standard-duty boltless shelving starter unit is constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish, featuring a boltless design for quick assembly without nuts, bolts, or clips. This 2-shelf unit provides four-sided access to stored items for maximum flexibility and includes 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers with double-rivet button stud beams on every level for added support and stability, adjustable in 1" increments. The double rivet construction securely locks perimeter beams into the corner posts, forming a stable joint that helps eliminate back and side sway. Each adjustable shelf is fitted with Duradeck non-porous decking, which cleans easily, making it suitable for healthcare and food service environments. The shelves support up to 800 lbs. per level when evenly distributed, and the unit can be extended with add-on units for additional storage space.
