The 48"W x 18"D x 60"H SC Preferred® standard-duty boltless shelving add-on unit is designed to expand existing storage systems by connecting easily to standard-duty boltless starter kits using a T-post configuration for a continuous shelving system. Constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish, this 3-shelf unit features a boltless design for quick assembly without nuts, bolts, or clips, and provides four-sided access to stored items. The heavy-duty frame includes 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double-riveted horizontal beams on every level that adjust in 1" increments to support various storage needs. The double rivet button stud construction securely locks perimeter beams into corner posts, enhancing stability and reducing back and side sway. Each adjustable shelf has DuraDeck decking, a smooth, non-porous surface that wipes clean easily, suitable for healthcare and food service applications. This unit supports up to 800 lbs. per level when evenly distributed, includes pre-sized panels for seamless installation, and connects to coordinating starter units for additional storage space.
