The SC Preferred® standard-duty boltless shelving starter unit measures 36"W x 12"D x 84"H and is constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish. This 3-shelf unit features a boltless design that assembles easily without the use of nuts, bolts, or clips and includes double rivet beams on every level for added support and stability. The heavy-duty frame has 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, with double-riveted horizontal beams that adjust in 1" increments to accommodate various storage needs. The double rivet button stud construction securely locks perimeter beams into the corner posts, forming a stable joint to help eliminate back and side sway. Each adjustable shelf is fitted with DuraDeck non-porous decking that wipes clean easily, making the unit ideal for environments requiring cleanliness such as healthcare and food service applications. The open design allows four-sided access to stored items for maximum flexibility, and the shelves support up to 800 lbs. per level when weight is evenly distributed. The unit can be extended with add-on units for additional storage space, and it includes pre-sized panels for seamless installation.
