The 48"W x 24"D x 48"H SC Preferred® standard-duty boltless shelving add-on unit is designed to expand existing storage systems by connecting to standard-duty boltless starter kits using a T-post configuration for continuous shelving across multiple units. Constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish, this 3-shelf unit features a boltless design that assembles easily without nuts, bolts, or clips, and provides four-sided access to stored items. It has a heavy-duty frame with 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, double-riveted horizontal beams on every level for added support and stability, and shelves adjustable in 1" increments. The double rivet button stud construction securely locks perimeter beams into corner posts to eliminate back and side sway. Each adjustable shelf includes DuraDeck decking, a smooth non-porous surface that wipes clean easily, ideal for healthcare and food service environments where cleanliness is essential. The unit supports up to 800 lbs. per level when evenly distributed and comes with pre-sized panels for seamless installation.
