The 48"W x 18"D x 84"H SC Preferred standard-duty boltless shelving starter unit is constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish and features a boltless design for quick assembly without the use of nuts, bolts, or clips. It includes six adjustable shelves fitted with DuraDeck non-porous decking that wipes clean easily, making it suitable for environments where cleanliness is essential such as healthcare and food service applications. The heavy-duty frame comprises 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double rivet beams on every level, providing added support and stability, with shelves adjustable in 1" increments to accommodate various storage needs. Double rivet button stud construction securely locks perimeter beams into corner posts, eliminating back and side sway and ensuring a stable joint. This unit supports up to 800 lbs. per shelf when evenly distributed and allows four-sided access for maximum flexibility. It can be extended with add-on units for additional storage space, and the pre-sized panels facilitate seamless installation.
